You mean....I have MORE Inglot to share?!

Yes....yes I do :P This was my haul from last week, but I felt like I was posting SO much Inglot, that I took a little break from doing so. This is probably going to be my last haul for a while (hahah, yeah...right!) so I wanted to get these pics/swatches up before I forgot about them!

With this order, I purchased a blush, eyeliners & of course, freedom shadows. The liners were really nice & I look forward to getting more! I'll review them as I post them :)

I. LOVE. THIS. BLUSH.
So, in my previous posts with Inglot & their blushes, my complaint was their glitter content. While the blushes had nice colour...that glitter fall-out was just annoying & has lead me to stop using their blushes. Bummer. But I took a chance & got a blush that wasn't available in the freedom system. HOLY. I love it! This blush comes out PERFECTLY on my skin...it gives me that glow-y look that everyone else was able to find with other products that never worked for me! Well, I've found it & I am stocking up big time!

Full Metal Liner ($12.00) #526. These are similar to the MAC Technakohl liners, but I feel they're much creamier than MAC's. Their colour range is small compared to their other liners, but still nice enough where I want to get a few more. I liked the way these applied, but I felt like I needed a couple swipes to build colour.

Soft Precision Liner ($9.00) #43. These are most comparable to MAC's eye kohls. I LOVE the colour range they have with these. The liners apply softly & opaquely and are in general, a really nice, basic liner. These are their cheaper liners, but rock with quality!

Okay, Reen....NO MORE PURPLES! Hahah! After I received this order, I re-organized all my palettes, because I am a freak like that. So now everything is in coloured order ;D I am definitely on a mission to own all their freedom shadows & am PRAYING that they open up a store in Chicago.

I'm also super excited to share that the photos I did for Sugarpill Cosmetics are being added to the site! Here's Dollipop! EEEEE, so excited about this! I'm also working on a couple other things for them as well & am seriously just beyond flattered & excited to be a part of their awesome cosmetics!

With that said, the next 100-follower-giveaway will include TWO winners. I was sent some extra goodies from Sugarpill that I want to use as prizes & I think they would fit in perfectly with everything, including a huge review/swatch post! Excited!

Anyways! I will have some looks to post for you soon. Happy Good Friday to everyone & Happy Easter as well :D I don't celebrate holidays, but I hope you all have a great time with your families!

Gold-smokey FOTD!

I've really been diggin' smokey looks lately! Last night I did a silver smokey & tonight, I went ahead with gold. I really just wanted to use Sugarpill's Goldilux pigment because it is probably the best gold on the planet! When you use it wet, it literally looks like liquefied gold...it's f'ing awesome! I'm actually going to be working on my Sugarpill Cosmetics review & am hoping to have it up next week! Looooove Sugarpill!

Anyways. Here's tonights look. I liked it a lot despite the fact that gold smokey's are a little outta season...but who the heck cares about those so-called rules anyways?! :D

 Sorry for the lack of pictures...especially up-close shots...my camera was on the verge of dying D: But here's what I used;

NYX Skin Tone eyeshadow base
L'Oreal HIP Gold Charge chrome eyeliner on the entire lid
Sugarpill Goldilux pigment on 2/3 of the lid (patted on, not swiped)
Sugarpill Bulletproof eyeshadow on the outer lid & crease
Inglot #463 Double Sparkle eyeshadow to highlight
Inglot #351 Matte under brows

MAC Her Own Devices Beauty Powder

MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipstick
MAC Masque lipstick
MAC Naked pigment

Physicians Formula Happy Booster + Giveaway!

I've recently become completely hooked on those adorable Physicians Formula 'Happy Booster' blushes & powders. These are violet scented & are said to promote the feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of endorphins. While, I'm not sure I've felt that effect, I know that I LOVE the way I look with these on. I own them all & love every single one of them. They apply so nicely either alone or over my bronzer & each one gives me an awesome, happy glow.

 Natural Blush

Rose Blush

Translucent Powder

Beige Powder

Light Bronzer Powder

Bronzer Powder

I got these all at Ulta & they always seem to have a hard time keeping them in stock. I finally got the Bronzer powder & Rose blush today after looking for about 2 weeks.

After looking over these cute little blushes, I thought to myself about their aspect of promoting happiness. Some of you may know that things for me as of late have been less than happy. I've had a lot going on over the last year & at the end of the day, I think all we want is to just be happy. I know that's what I want; to be happy & to be healthy. I've made lots of changes to my life just within the last few weeks alone & am truly on my way to finding my happiness.

So, I come to you all with one question:
What makes YOU happy?!

Leave me your answer in the comments & you could win this!
A brand new Physicians Formula Happy Booster blush in Natural & ecotools Bamboo bronzer brush!

Your answer could be a simple sentence. Or you can leave me a story. You can also post your own entry with pictures & anything else you can think of! You have to subscribe to my blog in order to enter, though & I will choose a winner on Monday, April 15!

Here's what makes me happy :D

Video games! I'm sure this has been MORE than obvious! I've loved video games since I was in kindergarten. I remember playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on the original Nintendo with my family. Since then, I've been hooked! I find it as a way to relieve stress, take my mind off things & just enjoy an awesome little digital world.

Humour! Even if it's foul mouthed toilet humour cartoons, checking up on Strongbad emails or reading the comics in every Sunday paper; humour is something I NEED in my life to be happy. I laugh a LOT and can easily find humour in everything. A huge inspiration in my life is George Carlin. I've spent hours listening to his hilarious material & have probably never laughed so hard in my life.

Having red hair...it's such a confidence booster for me. I've been changing my hair colour for over 12 years now & have never felt better when I have red hair. Confidence definitely helps trigger my happiness & I also find comfort within as well.

This is Pookie. She is one of the great loves of my life. You may not know this, but I live on an 8 acre farm south of Chicago. Most people are surprised that farmland still exists in this area, but my Grandpa has a small poultry farm that has always come well equipped with kitties! We have quite a few cats right now & when new babies are born, we socialize them & adopt them out. It can be kind of tough to see them go, because I spend as much time as I can with these little turkeys. But these little ones are amazing & you can always catch me outside being a huge dork with them :P

Nature! This plant here is right outside my front door. It's this amazingly beautiful & eye catching yellow shade that will only last during the spring. But I love it. My Grandpa has a total green thumb & during the spring/summer, my entire house and driveway is surrounded by plants & flowers. I love spending as much time outside as possible & have always had a liking for photographing the plant life around my house.

And of course...makeup! I've always been intrigued by makeup since I was a kid. I practically lived inside my mom's cosmetics case & would constantly swipe her makeup & play. She taught me that red lipstick requires attitude. I tried to copy everything I saw & am sure I had some pretty atrocious moments! But it's been a learning adventure for me. I learned everything I know now by myself & it's something I am so proud of. Year after year, I feel I've made huge improvements and it makes me feel incredibly good about what I love doing. I was recently accepted to Makeup School Sydney & am beyond excited (&happy!) to get the ball rolling!

Of course, I have plenty more things that make me happy, but these are key to my life.

So, let's hear it! What makes you happy?!

Showcase: Urban Decay 'The Dangerous Palette'

Taking a break from Inglot today :P I received my latest haul, but I'm all Inglot'd out & wanted to post other stuff here, too ;) So I decided to photograph & swatch my new UD palette; The Dangerous Palette!

I will admit, a huge reason I bought this palette was JUST for Virgin eyeshadow. Before this palette, this shadow was only available in the Naked palette & it would be silly to buy a whole 'nother one of those for just one shade. I really hope they make it a full sized shadow one day, as it's one of my favourite highlighting colours ever! I also purchased this palette so I could try the new Greed primer potion; I LOVE it! It's a pretty, sheer golden primer that is perfect for warm summer tones. The palette also came with Rockstar 24/7 liner (LOVE to use these as bases, they're waterproof, too!) which I would describe as a deepened, almost dirty plum colour.

I found the palette at Ulta as well as the other two. I might swing back in for the Feminine palette, but I'm not too sure. UD likes to regurgitate their shadows into all their palettes & after a while, they just become boring. While I really like this palette, you can easily find all these colours within other UD palettes. Either way, I am still a huge UD fan; I think their palettes are fun & easy to use. Their shadows tend to have a frosty, glittery finish which can be slightly unflattering, but still workable.

What's your favourite UD palette & why?

Latest Inglot haul ;D Pics + swatches!

I know, I know...I am flat out obsessed with Inglot Cosmetics. I received my recent haul today & purchased some of the other items they offer. Don't get me wrong, the Freedom system is amazing, so affordable & really nice for those who like to custom order their palettes. I just wanted to try some of their other products to see if they're worth branching out for.

First, their lipstick. I only purchased one shade because I wanted to see just how accurate their online swatches are. I purchased #414, a matte lipstick that looked like a soft baby pink on the website. While the lipstick is pretty matte (I would compare it to a MAC satin lipstick) the colour was just awful. In the tube it looks pretty nice, but on my lips....YUUUUCK. It came out as a powdery-white lilac that was not flattering on me in the least. It was pretty difficult to photograph it on my lips, so I will try again when I'm able to take pictures in natural light. I do want to try their cream lipsticks, though, in hopes that I won't be so disappointed.

Next up, their pigments. These are listed on their website as AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow, AMC standing for 'Advanced Makeup Components' which I am still researching further into. These are 2 g/0.07 ounces for $14.00 USD. Old MAC pigments are 7.5 g/.26 ounces & new MAC pigments are 4.5g/0.15 ounces...so when you calculate it out, Inglots pigments are rather pricey.

MMMMM. These are so fluffy! Hahah, fluffy, easy to apply & SO vibrant! These are each two swipes of pigment over NYX Milk eye pencil. That blue...wow. I'm working on Inglot dupes next & I'm pretty sure if you've been searching for MAC RebelRock Blue, you've found your match!

I also purchased some eyeshadows that aren't available in the Freedom system. These were $12 USD a piece & are 2.5 g/ 0.09 ounces. MAC regular eyeshadows are 1.5 g/0.05 ounces, MAC mineralized eyeshadows are 2.2 g/0.07 ounces & the MAC Mega Metal eyeshadows are 3.4 g/0.11 ounces. Inglot's full sized eyeshadow are an awesome deal when you calculate out the difference. I've noticed on the website, though, that not all the Freedom colours are listed as full eyeshadows. I sifted through the full sized shadows & chose a few that aren't available through the Freedom system.

I also ordered a full AMC eyeshadow without realizing I already owned it :P Woops! Eyeshadow is #59, I didn't swatch it because I already have before.

& Of course, I ordered more Freedom shadows as well as a 5 pan. :D

We all know I love these by now, no review necessary, hahah!

I hope you enjoyed this post, it took forever to photograph! I've got one more haul on it's way to me (eyeliners & of course, more Freedom goodies) and after that I will get started on a duplicates post! I'm going to go through ALL my makeup & compare as much as I can.

I'll also be doing a giveaway this Friday, so be sure to check out my blog for that! :D

K, passing out now ;D!
